Olivia's...What do you think?

We like it just fine. It's not what I would consider destination dining, but if you're staying at OKW, or want to take a boat from Downtown Disney, it's not a bad option at all. I really like the conch chowder, which is something you don't see anywhere else.

The main menu is pretty typical WDW resort fare - steak, chicken, fish, pasta. Olivia's does have a winsome laid-back island feel.

I'd consider it a no-fuss meal, if that's what you're looking for.

The reason that I am considering it is for the first day, no parks, just hanging at DTD. So, that sounds like a viable option unless you have some other suggestions.....popcorn::

Thanks so much for your response!!:thumbsup2

We were very pleasantly surprised.

Tried it for the first time on our last trip for lunch and it was great. DH LOVED the chicken wings and the key lime torte is absolutely fantastic!

It's say it's a great idea for what you're looking for. Plus, it's a nice boat ride from DTD.

We had breakfast there last March and we loved it!

We would definitely eat there again if we were staying at OKW. We had an excellent dinner there last August. And it got us back to the resort early enough that the kids had lots of pool time - they bailed out of the restaurant immediately after eating leaving me and DH to have dessert and take care of the bill!

Sounds like a good plan, smart kids!!;)

I'm glad to see more positive feed back for Olivia's. I've also read some good reviews from Allears as well. We're booked there for a dinner after one of our non-park days and I'm looking forward to a nice leisure meal and a chance to tour the resort OKW.

We love Olivia's. The atmosphere is so laid back and friendly. The food is great and the service is very attentive. You just have to try Olivia's Potatoes and the Key Lime Pie. They are both rather special.

We eat at Olivia's every trip. We like the menu choices and the atmosphere. Its a nice break from the craziness of the parks and some of the other resorts. We sometimes take the boat from DTD, just because it adds to the magic. BTW we have never stayed at OKW.

The boats from DTD were exactly why I was considering it! We are staying at Pop and this is my first visit since high school, now with my family, and I want everything to be great! Thanks for your feedback!

Last summer we were staying at OKW and we ate there 3 times. I liked the food. Service really varied though. But-it is very relaxing and calm.
