I am interested in this little show, but don't want to wait a crazy amount of time.

If we are waiting at the gate for normal entry (staying offsite) in September, if we walk swiftly right to Olivanders, how long would you expect the wait to be?

Is there a better time of day to try?

Without early entry, I'd be surprised if the wait was less than 45 minutes. I'm just guessing of course.

Best advice I can give is to try first thing and if it's too long, then check back about 90 minutes before park close and monitor the wait from there.

What time of year would you be going? I would guess less than an hour. I wish I could tell you that it was worth the wait. Sadly, this was my biggest disappointment with the whole Harry Potter area. :sad2:

We are going in September, and don't know if I would wait an hour for anything... last year we didn't wait more than a half hour on our whole disney trip....

I'd wait 20 minutes for it. I've waited a lot longer for a lot shorter things. I always enjoy the look on the participant's face when the wand chooses them.
