older kids at LeCellier

I have 3 kids.......7, 10 and 12 and was wondering if they will be able to order off of the kids menu at LeCellier. We will NOT have the ddp. I don't think they would eat enough to make it worth it if they have to order from the adult menu. I know the 7 yr. old will be fine but allearsnet says that the kids menu is for ages 3-9.

Also, how is the kids steak? My boys love steak and I was wondering how big it is and if it is good.

You can definitely order off the kids menu for them. My daughter is 12 and she always orders off the kids menu. She has no desire to eat off of the regular menu. I've never had an issue at Disney, I think they expect it a lot of times. The only time age is an issue is at the buffets, that's when you have to pay " adult" prices for your children 10 & up.

We went in December with 2 other families; we had kids ages 8, 8, 10, 14, 15 & 18. All but the 18 y/o ordered from the kids' menu- we were not on the DDP.

Enjoy it... wish I were there now for some pretzel bread and cheese soup... yum!

I can't wait for the cheese soup and pretzel bread!!! I love that stuff!!

I just have a feeling that my 12 year old is going to want to order the 25.00 new york strip..............I'm hoping the kids steak is pretty big! Anyone know?

I had that same question! My kids both love steak and it will be such a great break from the other kids meal options. I would love to know if anyone's child got the kids steak if it was decent size and if they liked it. Also we will be going on the Dining Plan and it says the steak is $2.00 more - will it be fine to pay that OOP? Thanks!

You could also consider letting the kids share a steak off the adult menu if they want a differnt or larger steak!
