Quick question, if we go to any of the places to eat and a kid that is over the age of 9 doesn't like the adult meals that they have to offer are they able to order from the kids menu? We are going in 2 years and my daughter is a very picky eater. She will be 11 and looking over some of the menus (we'd probably just do dinners out) I don't see much of anything that she'd eat off the adult menus. Just wondering how to handle that. we would NOT be on the dining plan.

thanks
Kath

Yes, your daughter will be allowed to order off the kids menu. Just ask the host/hostess for a kids menu for your daughter when you're seated. If you go to a buffet or family style service restaurant (Ohana, Garden Grill, LTT), you'll be charged the adult price, but regular TS will only charge the kids meal price.

We have never had a problem either. If my kids can't find something on the adult menu then they just ask to see the childrens menu!!

Have fun planning!!!:goodvibes :goodvibes

My dd (10) always orders off the kids menu (unless it's a buffet). We get the dining plan and I just pay out of pocket for her ts meals (not buffets) and use the credits for character buffet breakfasts.

We always buy her the adult dining plan, although it kills me, but she really lives on chicken nuggets, pizza and pasta in Disney.
