I am looking for an elegant dress to wear for my upcoming vow renewal. I would like to have tea length, something maybe with some sequins, or maybe one that is tea length in the front with a bit of a "train" (to about the calf) in the back. Does anyone have any ideas of where I could possibly find something like this. Or, I would love to see some pictures of an older bride who went more casual than a full length gown, or maybe a mother of the bride dress. Even though, I don't want full length, I would be willing to have it altered to a shorter length.
Any ideas? photo's would be great! Oh, and I can't do strapless.

Google Alfred Angelo style 1774NT, and 1142. I never would have tried on 1142 if I had not seen it in person the pciture of it was just eh, but on it is stunning! The 1774nt is also quite beautiful and has a lot of sparkle!

Thank you . They are both beautiful! I love the way they drape down in the back, but I can't wear strapless. Also, I was thinking perhaps soft pink instead of white.

You should look at the "Jade" collection by Jasmine. They have beautiful gowns that can be altered.

It is a strapless dress, but I have seen it with a halter added, so you might want to check out the Isadora Ann, by Maggie Sottero. That is what I am wearing for my vow renewal in November.

Where in Mass are you located? I am in Medford.

Thanks. We're in a little town just south of Quincy. Medford huh? Are you as happy with our weather this winter as we are, or are you a skier?
We are having our VR in November as well, but we will be renewing the vows here. It looks like we may actually renew them at the chapel at Logan. I see you have a PTR. I have recently started one, but isn't on the wedding thread, since I'm not renewing in WDW.
. Thanks for the info on the option of adding a halter. Now, I am off to view the Maggie Sotter Isadora Ann. Then to begin reading your PTR. I think I may have begun reading it at one point, but I'm sure I am behind by now. (if i remember this is your 10th anniv ? Is that right, is that you I am thinking of?)

We are loving this weather!!! I have never been on skis and have no interest in it. Don't like snow, cold or spending a lot of time outside to be honest. :lmao:

Good luck with the VR. I am intrigued by the chapel at Logan.

We are doing it for our 10th. Our actual anniversary is October 12th, but we are on a cruise that week, so we moved it to the next holiday weekend. By the looks of our countdowns, we may be in Disney at the same time. What are your dates?

I hope you like Isadora Ann. I think that the halter was done when they altered it, but the picture looks good.

I love the Isadora Ann. DH just told me I should try it on. After reading your PJ, I think you and I have a lot of the same taste. )I also would like a dress in pink. Not sure if I want a soft pink or more of a hot pink. My Mom loved me in pink. It is a warm memory I have. Every time I had pink on she would tell me how beautiful I was.) I just don't know if the MG dress is too formal for me. I will see what my oldest DD thinks. She will probably be the one to take me dress shopping. (I can't drive anymore). We don't even know how many people we are going to invite yet. (if any). Part of me wants to invite all our closest friends, another part of me wants it to be intimate.
How funny we are going to be at the world celebrating our VR at the same time & live in the same state. small world.
