I've been to WDW 4 times, my boyfriend never. I need ideas for us that aren't going to cost a lot. I did splurge on BWI and we should be there for free dining.

I'll turn 46 while we're there and he'll be 60. We don't do coasters. I think he'll love Saorin!

Thanks in advance!

One of my favorite freebies is going over to the Grand Floridian and watching the MK fireworks from the water. There are benches in front of the restaurant Narcossee to view it.

Do some character meet and greets and take pictures with you and him and the characters.

Enjoy the live, street entertainment offered at each park. We really like DeVine in Animal Kingdom.

I'm thinking Cirque too. I love DeVine and resort hopping. I completely forgot about her and he'll like that!

It depends on what you are into:
sports: golf, fishing, RPDE, marathon, bowling, ESPN Club, WWS/ESPN Zone, etc
shopping: DTD, area outlet malls, large scale malls
drinking: Jellyrolls, Raglan Road, monorail tour of resorts, walking tour of resorts in the Boardwalk area
movies: DTD 24 screen theater some with meals served by waiters
night clubbing: Jellyrolls, Atlantic Dance, Raglan Road, Citywalk
resort tours: monorail tour of resorts, Boardwalk around the lake tour of resorts, AKL/AKV
offsite: Gaylord Palms Resort, Citywalk, swamp tour

Depending on what you guys are into, MK offers the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom and A Pirates Adventure, and EPCOT has Agent P

All three are free to do and can be completed at your pace, so it's fun to do while wandering around the parks. I haven't done the Pirate Adventure yet but I have done the other two and they are pretty fun!

We are just a few yrs older then you and we love Disney as adults w/o kids.

It cost some money but drinking around the world is our favorite.

Walk around Disneys Boardwalk and take a boat ride around the lake, it's free.

As mentioned earlier Wishes from Poly beach, also include the Electric water parade.

If your on the dining plan make reservations at California Grill for dinner at the Contemporary on a night Wishes will be on.

Go to AKL and check out the animals and have a meal at Boma.

We like to bring our own wine and glasses and enjoy the view from our balcony at AKL.

Read my trip report from 2010 for more ideas (link in my siggy).

One of the best things we did was a late dinner at Narcoossee, after dinner ordering a couple of glasses of wine and fruit plate to go, then stroll to the boat dock there and watch fireworks. Try to time the reservations with the fireworks.
Also a late night walk through HS is amazing.
Monsieur Paul in Epcot is great as well for intimate dinner.

My sister and I like to take full advantage of all of the transportation options at Disney. We make plans to travel from Parks to Resorts by boat as often as possible. Next the monorail and of course if necessary (and they are) the buses. Nothing breaks up a full day of walking better than a lovely trip on the Bay from MK to Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness. If it is something you'd enjoy, Fort Wilderness is nice to walk around and they have a great little stable area with their horses and ponies.

I love to grab an ice cream and ride the MK train for a couple of loops. It's cool and a nice break too.

The other folks are right. You can see the MK and EPCOT fireworks from some of the resorts. You could sit on the beach at the Beach Club Resort and see the sky parts of IllumiNations.

I'm sure you will get plenty of great ideas. I hope you have a magical time. pixiedust:

I'm loving all these suggestions! Keep them coming! We picked our restaurants today so we're going to your at least one resort other than BWI...Wilderness Lodge. My daughter is enjoying these too since she and her hubby are going :)

One of our favorite things to do is to grab a bench and relax be it in the parks or at a resort. The Grand Floridian lobby has great music in the evening.

:) Watch the nightly movie by the pool, there should be a list. Free night viewing googles at AKL. Then walk over to Kidani and enjoy the fire side stories or small lectures given by CM's from Africa in the Library there.
