Old Universal ticket?

Way back in 1999, I bought a 2 day Universal Escape ticket but only ended up using 1 day. I don't recall anything saying that the ticket had to be used within any specific timeframe once it was activated, and there is nothing on the back of the ticket saying anything about an expiration date. This was back in the days when WDW tickets never expired and I think Universal was doing the same thing.

I've been hanging onto the ticket just in case I ever wanted to go back... and not surprisingly I'm thinking that I might want to check out the Harry Potter stuff at some point.

Does anyone know if Universal would accept my ticket? I am pretty sure Disney still accepts old tickets, but I have no clue about Universal's policies.

Thanks!

Since Universal sold non-expiring tickets back then, there's a good chance you could still use the old ticket. I would call Guest Services to verify...they will most likely have you fax a copy of the ticket to them to make sure.

You will be able to use them but you will need to go to Guest Services Will-call window to get them reprinted. The old tickets like that will not scan at the turnstiles.

Im at RPR now and my son used an old ticket from 2003. We checked at guest services to see if there were any days left because it was 3 day 2 park and we were told one day. They did not reissue a new ticket and we just used it at the gate.
