It there any particular reason that you must use Avis at Old Town Amusement Park? Most car rental locations pick up and drop off renters before and after their rentals, eliminating the need to pay for a taxi. However, BWV may be too far from Old Town Amusement Park for free shuttle service. But call them to find out.

If Avis, why not Avis at Hilton Hotel at Disney World on Hotel Plaza Blvd. in the Downtown Disney area?

And if it doesn't have to be Avis, you have many other choices that don't require the expense of taking a taxi. See "Car rental locations for WDW..." at http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2927109

I've rented from National at the WDW Dolphin several times when staying at BWV. (There's also Alamo at the WDW Dolphin.) The Swan is an easy walk from BWV, saving time and eliminating the need to take a shuttle or taxi.

(And why are you SHOUTING? :) )

I'll second the suggestion to check the Avis location at the Hilton across from DTD. The office code for that location is LB3. Its a very short walk across the street from DTD.
