We have decided to spend two nights at RPH before our disney week and my DH and I have old tickets from about 10 years ago with 2 days left on 3 day tickets.
Will we have any problem using them in July?
TIA!

As long as there wasn't an expiry for them, they should be fine. Read the print on the back of the tickets.

The tickets 10 years ago didn't have an expiration but you will need to take them to Guest Services window and exchange them as I doubt that turnstiles will be able to read them.

Thanks-- I was thinking we might have to do something like that.

If it has a readable barcode, it might work at the turnstiles but many older tickets just don't work. You can try at the turnstiles or just go to Guest Services and have them check them first.

If they are over 10 years old you may not be able to use them to get into Islands of Adventure. Do you remember if it was opened the last time you were there? Not sure about Universal's policy but Disney's policy on old tickets is that they get you into whatever was open at the time you purchased them. IOA opened May of 1999 so you're right on the border.

Since they have 2 days left, they would do a 2 day/2 park ticket since Guest Services does not sell a 2 day/1 park ticket.

The tickets are dated 11/99.

Yes- they have a barcode! We will probably go to guest services first cause we have to get the kids tickets and ask then.
TY

My guess is the tickets are fine, but if you want to be 100% certain, you can fax a copy of the ticket to Universal (407-224-5717) along with your name & phone # & they'll call you to verify whether the tickets are still valid or not. I just did this about a week ago & they were great about getting back to me very quickly.
