Old Tickets and Halloween Upgrades?

I have one day left on two passes I bought in 2000. I'm hoping to get an upgrade for the Halloween Party when I get to the ticket counter.
Do you think this will work? Does the Halloween Party usually sell out every night?
Can I upgrade tickets in my possession Online, or is that only when you order tickets online?
I didn't see the two day/both parks tickets listed at the USF site. Can they be upgraded if they've discontinued this kind of ticket?

In the past you could only buy upgrade tickets in the park. You didn't have to go the same night as the daytime ticket.

Almost any ticket can be upgraded. The additional cost is the difference of the new ticket minus the original price of the old ticket.

Currently the two day ticket is a two day ticket with a third day free. Most third day free tickets expire within 7 days. That is probably different than the ticket you have now.

Yes, it is different from what I have. I have the two day/two parks ticket, and have only used one day on them. It says they are good forever.
Does anyone know if I can phone Universal and order the upgrade that way?

Okay I'll answer my own question. LOL. I emailed Universal and here is their reply, in case anyone else had the same question.

"You will not be able to upgrade them to include Halloween Horror Nights online, this may be done at Guest Services or any designated kiosk in the parks on the day of your visit."

I just hope they don't sell out the night I want to go.

If you're planning to go on a peak night, you'll want to upgrade as soon as you get there, becuase some nights last year had been sold out several days before the actual event.
