old sewing machine help

I was gifted aa universal sewing machine model UN-7. its got a de luex zig zag stich. It has a stiker saying Service and sales from coast to coast. Its old. Not sure how old but I would like to know. Just wondering if its worth alot because the gifter told me I could sell it and get a newer one.

I would try a google search to see if the company is still around. I know even old things can be tracked. Model numbers are great for tracking these things.

I have an old wooden level that I was able to at least find out the time frame it was manufactured. DH was amazed that the level he was using that weekend went out of production more than 50 years ago. Belonged to my grandmother's step-father (she was born in 1890)...great usable family treasure!
