Just in time to say goodbye!

A friend of mine suggested this thread a while a go but I procrastinated unsure if it would fly.

I played during beta and about a year after that. Since returning in February I have seen many people I knew then but you many not recognize nor remember me today. I always hesitate to say hi in the game. I am sure there are many others who have come back into the game after a hiatus and would like to reconnect or say hi, so everone feel free to post here and let's get to know each other again while we can!

My former names were Fantasmico, DesiDesi and usually dressed with Snow White hair and the converse sneakers.

Ever since the first blackheart quest there has been quite a few players from days of old who had returned to the game. Unfortunately, most have given up once they heard the game was closing.

I'm the same way. Played in Beta and for a while after that. But was gone way too long, lost all my stuff, including my Day 1 badge.

I recognize a lot of players but also hesitate to say hi because they probably won't remember me.

I think I remember Desi though.

I came back about a month ago because I saw a thread somewhere else about VMK closing. I wanted to get back in and relive the memories before it's gone.

I wish they had the courage to keep playing. I know it is sad but for me, quitting just means I lose out on valuable time with friends and those important memories. VMK seems like a ghost town almost.

What was your former characters name? I think I have seen you in the game now but my fingers aren't good typists, lol, so the moment passes and people leave before I can say anything. Won't hestitate to say hi now.

Keep watching the Skies Though, don't be looking for pkwebmaster.. I've tried everything to get back my old name but they won't let me.

I can't asserverate a dramatic return exactly, but I think it's really lame how they've decided it's appropriate to end a game than they positively know means so much to so many people. They've not even given a real reason to justify closure, beyond the enigmatic 'All good promotions must come to an end'.

Sorry you guys didn't get your old titles back. I was able to get gottatravel back. Spent a few days as guest, but then it was there.

I havent been here on the boards for a long time, but I have been popping into the game regularly. I'll miss everyone, and seeing all the familiar names. I wish I could take my hat collection with me!

I am saying hi to those I remember anyway. Often they don't remember me though.
