Not sure I'm understanding what you are saying. Why would the school have record of any jobs you went for? Was this high school? I don't get it.

When my in-laws died we found many of my husband's old grammar school report cards. For all you parents of lazy boys who don't come close to reaching their potential, there is hope.

OMG!!! I had to get a high scool transcript for a part time job in my towns middle school....I am so embarassed!!!!!

I have every one of my report cards from kindergarten until the day I graduated from high school. It became a ritual for my children to see my report card when they received their report card at the end of the school year. It was interesting for them to see that mom was not perfect. It also gave me perspective for when I saw their report card. I mean, I turned out OK and I didn't have straight A's

Ive saved all mine. My fave part was the comments the teachers would write about me. Things like "Stacerita is a joy to have in class" "Stacerita works well with others" "Stacerita is working up to her potential" "I wish I had 25 other Staceritas in my class" And the funny thing is that after all these years their comments still hold true. These are the same line of comments I get on my job reviews.

my DM gave me an envelope with old report cards in it. I didn't pay any attention to it and stuck it in a drawer.

One day the kids were going through some stuff and found the envelope with the report cards. They were shocked. It was mostly D's and F's. They couldn't believe their DM made those kind of grades. I didn't, they were my DBs report cards, not mine. They were even more shocked because my DB has an upper management position with a major corporation so they couldn't believe someone with those grades could do well later in life. While it was a good life lesson, it could also be very hurtful to his family to know that their DF failed in school unless he was the one to tell them about it.

I had to make them swear not to tell their cousins about their fathers grades and then called DM to tell her I was tossing them and please be careful when you send things because you never know who could get hurt.

I have all mine too...except for a few HS ones....NO ONE SAW THEM!

My Kindergarten teacher wrote "I never see 'disuncs" face..he is too busy looking at what is going on behind him" (ya had to watch your back in Brooklyn) ..."he is a nosey body & budinsky...and it seems IMPOSSIBLE for him to mind his own business!"

Boy did she have me pegged at 5 years old!
