Old Question - Swan or Dolphin for Xmas?

We stayed at Swan this past May and loved the renovated room. However, I think Dolphin has a better location in terms of Tubbi, laundry, and a grand lobby.

For Xmas, I would love to stay at Dolphin, however, it seems that some people are disturbed by the noise level due to the renovation.

Also, the club rooms will not be renovated by Xmas from what I was told. I am still holding hope that we can use spg pts to get upgraded to the Club Level during our stay. So we will not have the heavenly beds as in the Swan.

Which one would you choose - the renovated room at Swan or take a chance with Dolphin?

If you are lookin at this x-mas, I would make your mind up quickly. We are booked at Swan CL and have been since the summer. We chose it because it was the smaller of the two and already renovated. I'm told the walk to Dolphin is not an issue. We will be there 12/28-1/02 to ring in the New Year. Maybe we'll see you. Can't wait for the new beds!
