Old Park hopper passes

We have several days left on old park hopper passes issued in 2002. The passes are on our resort id cards from our 2002 stay. I know that under the old system, you could use the unused days or cash them in toward new passes. What is current Disney policy under the new pass system?

You can do either or. I would suggest using them if at all possible, or saving them for a future trip. Another option would be to sell them on eBay.

My dad had tickets from around that same time (I think it may have been 2001), and they wouldn't let him use them as credit toward a new ticket in Feb of this year. (Even if they would have, the credit they'd give wouldn't be worth it financially. Youre much better off selling or using them).
