Old Navy Flip Flop sale

Last year I happened into and Old Navy when they were having their $1 flip flop sale but I don't remember when it was. Does anyone know? Or even better, does anyone know when it will be this year?

It looked very crazy and I ended up leaving without what I went in for because the line snaked around the store so anyone that has gone before do you have any tips or advise?

My DH is a manager of our local Old Navy store and he says the $1 flip flop sale is on May 22.

The only advice he gave was to get there early before the store opens and do not shop for anything else that day but flip flops. Grab the shoes you need quickly and go directly to the register.

Thanks! Unfortunately it looks like I'll miss it. DD8 has a dance competition that weekend and I will most likely not be able to be at ON for opening on the 22nd. Guess I'll have to be satisfied with $2.50 flip flops.

I went to the sale last year and it was crazy. I didn't feel it was worth it, especially since I brought my son (then 11) and I was worried about him getting pushed. Later, I went to the $2 tank top sale and I had wised up. I bought the tanks I wanted the night before, then came back the next day. I was the first to the counter since I didn't have to go pick out any tanktops, and I returned and rebought them. Not every store will let you do this, but I asked about it beforehand and was told no problem. I was out before anyone even got in line behind me, and didn't have to deal with any pushing or shoving.

just a heads up right now everything is 30% off so those 2.50 flops are ringing up as 1.75, still a great deal! I scooped up a few pairs for the whole family!
