This code also stacks with the codes that they email new customers when first signing up a new email address. If you don't have an email addy to sign up you can use this site to get a 10 minute email address and then once you get your coupon in your inbox you can forward it to your personal email addy. Go to 10 minute mail, get your temp address, then go to oldnavy.com and towards the bottom of the page you can sign up a new email addy.

Now to maximize the discount you need $83.50 in your cart to get both codes to work.
$83.50 - 40% equals $50.10
$50.10 - $10 email coupon equals $40.10 and since your cart was over $50 before discounts you will qualify for free shipping, make sure to check it since it defaults to the $7 shipping.
You need to get your cart to as close as $83.50 as possible to maximize the discount, the more you go over, the less the total discount. You can do multiple orders if you need more stuff.

I downloaded Chrome, and I even found the cookie in question and I changed the last letter like was indicated. But when I refresh the page, it isn't doing anything! I can't get the banner to change and I can't use the code for 40 off! 
I'm stumped!
