old kid park hopper plus tickets

We last visited Disney in 2001. Our son was 5, now he is 11. We bought him a 6 day park hopper plus child pass back then. We only used 4 days. I have heard that he will be able to use this when we travel in Feb. is this true? Or will we have to pay the difference between a child ticket and an adult? We now have a 5 year old, if we are unable to use the rest of the days on our 11 yeat old son, would our daughter be able to use it? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

All you need to do is go with your son to Guest Relations outside any of the theme-parks or at DTD and show his old "child's ticket".

They will upgrade the remaining days to Adult status for your son with no extra charge.

It is not advantageous to utilize the remains of that ticket, regardless of age, unless the total vacation is for three or fewer days in the theme parks.

DS can use or exchange the ticket at no extra charge anytime in his life.
