Old Key West ???

I was thinking about staying at Old Key West this summer (July 21-31.)
We will be down there at the end of this month and if there is a bounceback offer for 40% off would that be better than renting points ???

For me it was cheaper to rent points. I'm going in June and even with the 40% off for AP a studio was $213 a night. I rented points and got the studio for $169 a night.
