We returned from a long stay in Orlando a few days ago. The Disney portion of our stay was split between offsite (HIFS) and onsite (Old Key West).
We (daughter, age 9, and I) were in one-bedroom unit at OKW. We were in building 21, which is not close to the main pool, but a very short walk to one of the quiet pools.
I thought the resort beautiul and quiet. Walking from pool at night back to our room, I felt we were in a small town.
As for the room. It was so spacious, with a wonderful color scheme. I loved sitting on the deck, reading a book and watching the golfers. The bathroom is split--with one large part containing the jacuzzi tub and a sink. The other part had the shower, toilet, and another sink. There is also a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer.
We both loved this resort and definitely plan on staying here again. We had an AP rate, which was $276/night, tax included.
