Hey I will be going on a Dinsey 3 Night Cruise 3 Night and was thinking of staying at OKW trying to keep the cruise experience while at WDW.

Do anyone have any pictures of OKW studio rooms?

I have never stay at OKW, anyone have any recommendations or reviews on OKW?

Thanks

We are longtime OKW fans. :thumbsup2 I don't have any personal photos with me, but check out this link ---

The studios are a nice size with a large bathroom and kitchenette w/a wet bar, microwave, small fridge and coffeemaker. There are 2 queen beds, a table with two chairs and a balcony.

Take a look at the map of OKW and try to get an idea of where you'd like to be located. Bldgs. 62-64 are the only buildings with elevators. All areas have their own pool. Near the main pool area is the front desk, Olivia's restaurant, a small bar and snack shop and a general store. You can also grab a boat here for transport to DTD. The resort is very laid back and relaxing, but quite large.

If you are need/want of being close to the Hospitality House (main building), that is an actual booking category and must be booked as so. We love OKW and I'm sure you will too!!

This will be my first trip to OKW in Sept. I am looking forward to it. Thanks for the pictures my wife was really interested in them.

Thanks.

Those pictures are better than anything I have. Love the studios at OKW the best....they are roomier (is that a real word? ;)) and if you are looking for romance, ask for one of the canal views in building 45 or 46. Stay away from building 29 on the end...loud bus noises.

Have fun

Cheryl

When I look at the pictures of OKW rooms, it looks old but i can't tell. I am a little nervous about booking OKW after my disney Cruise.

Am thinking about staying at OKW, BTL or AKV Kidani.

If you are thnking about after the cruise room, I;d advise Jambo house rather than Kindani. I am an owner there and Jambo house has the various resteraunts, and acativites... Kindani has a great pool but few food offerings unless youwant to sit down . Both are great, but I like Jambo HOUse better.

The rooms are all being updated, so the beds and such are all newer. It may be the decor that is striking you as "old", but all the rooms are done in pastels to give the feeling of Key West. And after being in the cabin at the cruise, you will welcome the room.

I agree! The pictures on allears are terrible! They are dark and do make OKW look old and cheap! I have some awesome bright pictures that I took a few years ago, but they are on my other laptop. If I get a chance I will boot it up and post them. I love OKW, it is one of our favorite resorts. I find the rooms to be very relaxing and comfortable, not old and dated. Those pictures really need to be redone. They are terrible!

(Starwood), Thanks for posting your great pictures. Your pictures really makes OKW look 100 X's better than the onces on allears.

(Alexander), I also hope if you get a chance you can post your OKW room pictures too.

Me and my family will be going on our frist cruise ever in Sept 2010. I am a DVC Member and trying to keep the cruise experience going after leaving the Disney Ship while at WDW.

I was thinking of staying at OKW in Sept 2010 after the cruise and than staying at the BLT in Dec 2010 for christmas.
