Hello

Are there laundray facilities on site here. We are looking to stay in a studio, will this be okay for 2A and 1 child. Does anyone have any idea of how much it would cost to upgrade to a 1 bed once we arrive at the resort. I am going with a UK tour operator, who doesn't sell the 1 bed.

An OKW studio will have 2 Queen beds, a kitchenette (coffee maker, microwave, toaster, refrigerator). Depending upon the length of your stay and your "comfort level" it should do nicely for 2 A and a child.

Complementary laundry facilities are located adjacent to each of the 4 pools at OKW. Each laundry room has 2 washers and 4 dryers. They look like standard coin operated machines, but they do not require coins, simply push the coin slot in to activate.

Are you using cash and going through CRO (via your tour operator)? Then you can't even book a DVC villa until at least 7 months out. If you wait until then, you might be able to book the one bedroom villa through your tour operator. I see your time line shows 11+ months until your trip so that might be the problem.

If you have a points reservation, you cannot up grade that by adding additional cash. And if you try to up grade upon arrival for a cash reservation, you might be too late.

We will be booking a package through our tour operator. The studio and Villas are on their site for August/September only. I am still deciding when to go, and if to stay here or come in October and stay at Regal Palms again.

i think Virgin holidays have this accomondation in these months, due to the slower season. They don't have it for other times of year.

That makes sense. You will have plenty of room in a studio. The advantage of the 1 bedroom would be the full sized kitchen, living room, laundry room and king bed and jacuzzi in the master bedroom, but the little one would have to sleep on a hide-a-bed, so that might not be an advantage for you.
