We hope to book a trip in early December, 2010 and need to know what locations ( quieter areas) are the best. There will be 16 of us going
and we will book a dedicated 2 bedroom and a couple of studio rooms. Thanks in advance.

Since the rooms will be at capacity, I'd recommend the Old Turtle Pond or South Point areas of the resort, that way you'll have two entrances to the master bath in the 2 bedroom unit. (Bldgs 30 and over)

For a nice canal view, bldgs 45, 46 and 55 are nice. Bldgs 30 to 35 aren't bad, either, with a golf view, and they are convenient to a bus stop.

I agree with the PP. We love the water-view rooms at 45, 46 & 55. Old Turtle Pond is great too!

South Point would be my choice as well. We LOVE buildings 45 and 46!

Favorite area of OKW, can't beat that view! I also stayed in Bldg 15 which is in the front and near HH and the main pool etc., nice view. I thought upon arrival that we would hear the incoming traffic, but I was pleasantly surprised. I would suggest you stay away from Bldgs. near the quiet pools, they're not so quiet! OKW is a special place, no matter where you end up I'm sure you will love your stay.

As others have mentioned 45 and 46 are first choice, that being said this past May we requested builing 55 and loved it. We were in a dedicated 2 BR on the second floor, the building is only two story by the way, and loved the view (up or down the canal) and the building seemingly out of the way made it extremly quiet. The teen boys loved the qiuet pool right next to the building and the bus stop a short walk away.
