I've done a search but can't find the info sorry if it's already been asked

We staying on site for the first time in 39 days

We liked the smaller pool on Millers rd, its close to the bus stop which is the last stop before leaving the resort so it takes 9 mins to MK from being picked up, although that means last stop on return. You can get off at the first stop and walk as quick as the bus goes around the resort.
Some people like to be near Hospitality House and the main pool but that pool is too busy for us.

Another vote for Millers Rd area (we always request building 18).
Next to a quite pool, opposite a bus stop that is the second to last one on the way out and it's less than a 5min walk to Hospitality House.

don't know if you are a dvc member or booked like us via WDW resorts. We did online check-in at either 30 or 60 days out - (sorry can't remember which) and you don't get a prescriptive decision to make unlike dvc members. From memory it is a choice of two only and has stuff like area/level/near bus stop and view. We went for top floor and golf course view for ds. If there had been more options would have liked near transport too but without young children its not a deal breaker. Enjoy :goodvibes:

We've stayed twice at turtle pond pool area.

Will ask for that location again next year.

Great pool for kids - lots of 3 ft areas. You can also get drink refills and snacks at the snack bar.

There is a play park next to the pool aswell.

I subscribe and assumed it was a paid members thing! Really for OKW it hasn't helped me. I could do with arial views of different areas.
You can see that on Google Earth:)

We always ask for Millers Road area - love that location. And sometimes being near transportation is a not so good - we got turtle pond one year and had to move as the room was opposite a bus stop - heard the beeping as the ramps went up/down and the air brakes so much, I couldn't sleep:("Be careful what you wish for";)

We love Turtle Pond area and have stayed in this area several times. There's a great pool with a pretty good snack bar. If you have small children there's a great little play area. We've only ever stayed in one other area which I think was South Point, didn't really care for that area!

Does it get deep too? I like the look of this area but the kids won't be impressed with a shallow pool. Is the other quiet pool the same re shallow depths? If so I'll ask to be near Hospitality House and the main pool which I wasn't planning on doing until I read your post. We will have a car and kitchen so my only want is to be near a pool. Food court and main building not an issue for us.

Yes the turtle pond pool is bigger than the other quiet pool and gets deep too. Too deep for you to stand up 6ft?

It just has a few shallow areas too.

That's where we always request. We never use the main pool, way too 'rowdy'.

Another vote for the Turtle Pond area for the reasons already mentioned :)
