Anyone declined the OKW Extension from UK ? I understand we still have to get this Notarised. How is this done?

I've declined. I've had acknowledgement that they know I have declined but I haven't had any paperwork through yet to sign.

OK, daft question: why do you have to get papers signed and notorised for NOT taking up the extension? We've not even responded to the offer.

You have to sign over to disney the rights over the extra 15 years. All contracts are being extended so if you don't want it you have to give it to disney.

I think it was $15 per point if you agreed before a certain date. Then it was $25 per point.
I wonder if they will offer the other resorts, BCV,BWV & VWL next?

It's a 15 year extension, so basically $1 per point per year, so it's a good deal if you can pass it on to your children etc. As we will be well in our 80's by then I'm still on the fence... it would add to your resale value I think, but that is still a risk..

We declined by email. Apparently there is some paperwork on its way for us to sign.

Seems like a poor deal really. It would have cost us $6000 now, and no benefit for anyone until the year 2042!

Same here - we sent back our form declining but apart from a mail shot offering us financing to extend we haven't heard anything
