I have two year old hopper tickets with only a plus left on them for a water park. When we go next month, do we need to do anything special to use them? Can we just bring them to Typhoon Lagoon or can we exchange them at the resort? :confused3

Thanks! :Pinkbounc

We have the same issue. Only I can't remeber if we have a day at the parks left or a "plus" left. So I was told that I had to take the park tickets to customer service at any of the parks, have them read the tickets and then pay the difference for the two kids tickets we have, because the kids are now in the adult category. Hope this helps,

Marty Jay

You can just use them at the park. I have some that are several years old that I use whenever I go without a problem. Barrie

If the tickets are the same size as new tickets, it is OK to try them in the turnstiles as-is first thing.

Your kids can use up theirs any time with no extra charge. Occasionally the CM will tell the kids (and you if you are there) to go to Guest Relations to have some special treatment performed (again, no charge).

At Pleasure Island, pre-2005 tickets should be presented at the Adventurers Club or Comedy Club before being used at a music club. You don't have to stay for more than a minute at the former.

In September we used passes from 2000 that had only pluses left at Typhoon Lagoon. Just fed them into the machine and entered. No problem at all.

Yes, your old tickets should be "turnstyle ready" the only reason to go to guest relations is if you want to check/verify the number of days and or plus options remaining. The resorts can do this for 99% of the tickets, if they are really old or bought through an outside vendor you may have to have them checked at a themepark.

As for 3-9 tickets (childrens tickets) when the children are now over 10 Disney does not not charge to upgrade them provided they have been used by the child at least once prior to the child turning 10.

If your child is around the 10ish age and you feel comfortable with it you can just use them as is and explain the situation to the CM if you are questioned. If the child is much older than 10 you can simply go to guest relations and have the ticket converted to a 10+ ticket for no extra cost. The child must be present and the dates of prior use must make sense but in my experience it takes no more than 5 minutes. I have done it twice, both times at the IG at Epcot.

Have fun
