Madame Tussauds is supposed to be really cool. What I like is they let you pose for fun pics with all the figures. For example, they have Hugh Hefner on a bed, and I think you can sit on the bed like you are hanging out in the Playboy Mansion with Hef.

That is so cool.

Morning Vegas gals! I'm still getting the twins ready for school. They are eating breakfast so I just wanted to pop on real quick. I will start the exchange when I get back from taking them.

I was really more testing ME. I wanted to make sure I didn't turn into a crybaby or something on my first big girl trip Seriously, I just barely managed to not bawl my eyes out on the plane - there were too many little kids around and I did not want to start a riot in the back of the plane

Yep you can sit on the bed with Hef, Jenna Jamison, the Rock, the Kennedy's, I love Madame Tussauds. I have been 3 times, but I still go back, I love it!

Oh and i thought i would share one of my abstract paintings. It speaks of the communion between Religion and Science. I usually work with oils but this is a mixed medium of oils with acrylics for dimensions.

Madame Troussaounds is fun .. they had a really kewl Bono a few years ago and He was kinda crouched down.. i stood between his thighs..and tilted my head .. the pic looked like Bono was whispering in my ear.. hahahahaha.. what a little nerd i am.. it was probably the closest i will ever come to Bono whispering in my ear.

We have a wax museum in Victoria - it's cool, but kind of small. I would love to see the one in Vegas if we have time and energy

That's great about the traveling and meeting up with friends. I had no idea if I would like it or not before March, but it was good (that's why I wanted to do Vegas - well, I wanted to join up before March, but I wanted to be sure first ). I did find out that I don't like packing my stuff (laptop) around by myself though Usually Jesse (yes, my son ) carries that for me. I may have to look into getting one of those really small ones!

I saw today that dell has one for $250!!!

I love my Dell Mini 9 (unfortunately I paid more than $250 for it!)

That looks great, Dawn! Love your paintings. I am not very talented in an artsy way (never ask me to draw anything, it is NOT pretty!). Sometimes I like to believe I could do something crafty and give it a try, but nope, still the same I have piles of beads and paints and other supplies....... Now typing and editing - stand back, this I can do!

I painted 2 pieces on that wall.. the cross and madonna i showed...and the one on the right..the madonna and christ child... they are both spiritual abstractions. I never know what i am going to paint.. it just happens. I always think it comes through me, like i'm a vessel..rather than it comes from me.
The center picture along with the small one up in the upper right corner and the bottom small one are Gustav Klimts.. i love his art so very much, the use of patterns and color with passion.
I love Art **so** much. Going to museums is like eatting a meal, it just satiates and fills me! Guess You can tell I love art My grandmother painted with me as a child and I love painting with my grandchildren.
I'll have to take a picture of a trinity i did.. they are oil and arcylic on very very very thick paper.. it's a trinity of woman.. Mind, Body and Spirit.
We will have to talk art sometime over wine, You have such great museums near You!

I have a ad at the bottom of my screen for HCG Diet Noodles.. they look like ramen noodles.. it says they are calorie free.. why don't i have any of those noodles? Has anyone tried them?

Hello ladies!

I haven't been responding much because I have been in the crappiest of crappy moods lately. I'm just super stressed about everything and I'd hate to get snippy at someone on the boards, so I refrain from posting.

Also, I've canceled going on this trip about three times already this week. I know things will work out for me in the end, but it's just so hard to wait around and stress about it.

By the way, I'd never been on Facebook until Cristabel had me sign up. Once upon a time I had a MySpace page, but that was WAY TOO MUCH DRAMA for me. People were very hurtful and I didn't need people talking about on their pages. I still don't fully understand Facebook. I mainly just work on my farm on Farm Town...I'm sure my boss appreciates that. I'm sure she's wondering what I am doing when she walks by and sees a farm on my computer screen.
