Anyone got old FW documents?

As I began researching when the 500 loop changed from Tupelo Trail (1976 map) to Terry Trail (1978 map) I started looking at all my old stuff. I am putting some of it on line, so if you have something let em know and I can add it.

HERE is my FW History page by Scanner

You have some interesting info. I never new they had rented actual trailers back then. I know they had the permanent trailer homes, but not the others. It's always interesting to see the way things used to be.

I "camped" in one of the Terry trailers once, that's why I remember them. I was surprised at the map Kevin posted that showed the 500 loop as anything but the Terry Trail. That was the first home of the trailers.

I think we have some more old FW documents and photographs around someplace..The registration forms and FW handouts we received when registering etc....Remember the $9 a night slip cost??? Some of them go back to May, 1975....We do have some of the old FW "tickets" we didnt get to use on the horse ride, canoe, watercraft ride....remember when the rides and attractions at FW were a "B" ticket??..instead of paying cash??/ Or at the Kingdom where the ultimate ride required the Green "E" ticket ...hense the term an "E Ticket Ride" Those were in the old days where WDW was a pay as you go park..You bought a book of tickets to use for attractions....We used tickets listed as A,B,C,D,& E for the various attractions.."A" being the smallest ( children ride)..and "E" being the most thrilling. ( Space Mountain)..I will try to find some of those and scan them along with some other WDW and FW pictures from that era. I am pretty sure we still have the old real Crockett's Tavern menu ( remember when they served dinner there?) as well as the Trading Post list of supplies and prices from May,1975 and our Hoop Dee Doo docs , ticket stubs and menu etc. from the trips in the 1970's. I have to check in Mom's garage...so give me a few weeks and I'll let you know what we find and see if there is any interest in the forum in looking at the old FW days.

Meantime..here is an old pic of the BBQ..do they still have BBQ's like this one ???? I remember the price at FW for charcoal was really reasonable....we were in Jack Rabbit loop that time ...this is late May, 1975 or the next year..not sure.......when I still had some hair...hahah...but rain or shine we finished the cooking each day...Everyone, have a healthy and safe New Year...

Do they still have this cannon? This was taken around Winter 1976

The BBQ is still the same, but I don't remember seeing those cannons anymore.

I would love the stuff from Crockets and the trading post. Scan them in as high res as possible and I'll shrink them. My e-mail is listed here to send them if you find them

Thanks

We camped in them twice as children...taking my DD to the cabin last year just wasn't the same. That and no marshmellow marsh. Oh well, now we had the campfire:thumbsup2
