Tail Spin or was it Tale Spin? either way, that was the only Disney show I would watch with any frequency...it was a fun show.

I am sorry. I still think of those as NEWER Disney cartoons!!!!

:rotfl: Fair enough! Haha! The question was spawned from the current FB awarenss raiser. Everyone keeps asking what my new avatar is! I picked Eleroo from the Wuzzles!

These are old?

Excuse me...I need to go find my teeth and finish my bowl of prunes.
I turn a certain milestone on Monday...

Ditto ... when I saw the title "Old Disney Cartoons" I thought there might be a mention of "Mickey's Trailer" or some such.
In my defense, if I were to refer to the "old" cartoon shorts, I would use the term "original"!

Nope, I wasn't born yet, neither was my mother for that matter. Everything is relative, the "old" cartoons listed by OP are old to me and to her. "Charlie The Lonesome Cougar", which doesn't appear to be a cartoon from what I could find, is old to you.

;)

I think maybe you are just not familiar with the cartoons. Several of those listed premiered in the early 90s and the oldest were mid 80s. I have a hard time imagining that anyone old enough to post here has a mother who was not even born by 1990. Even if you are 14 and she had you at 14 you she would have been alive when these came out.

I LOVED Rescue Rangers, and the Gummie Bears..I watched Tale Spin and the Wuzzles, and I never missed an episode of Ducktales!

Ok, along that same line, do you remember Gargoyles? That was another fun show I watched

Yes! I remember Gargoyles, not as much as the others though... ;)

My kids have been glued to Darkwing all morning.

Oh no, my response wasn't to the original question. I do remember all of those cartoons, Wuzzles was my favorite growing up. I was responding to some of the posters who were laughing at the OP referring to Wuzzles, Tale Spin, etc as "Old". They asked if I'd ever heard of "Charlie The Lonesome Cougar", that's why I said I wasn't born yet, their "old" show was from 1967.

Yes, but did you ever see "Charlie the Lonesome Cougar" on a Sunday night?
Not sure if I remember that one, but we do know someone who had an uncredited part in "A Country Coyote Goes Hollywood". (We'll have to ask her about that when we see her next week.)

I remember our children watching the Wuzzles and me getting nostalgic because two of the voices were people from Rowan and Martin's Laugh In, Henry Gibson (Eleroo) and Jo Anne Worley (Hoppo).
Now, that was a great show!

Oh! That makes ever so much more sense--thanks for clarifying:goodvibes

Well, to me the classics are "Mickey's Rival" , "Sleepy Time Donald" and "Mickey's Fire Brigade".

But everything after "Steamboat Willie" is really new. ;)
