Old/Closed Rides

When i was little, i used to love to see Food Rocks. I was about 5 when it closed i think, bu i am very happy with what they replaced with it, Soarin'. But Food Rocks was one of my favoirte dsiney shows ever when i was little.

I remember the If You Had Wings ride from my childhood! I can still sing the song, "If I had wings, had wings, had wings..." You went through a tunnel where images were project all around you. It was air-conditioned so it always felt cool in the summer.

I also remember 20,000 leagues. Scared the heck out of me as a kid.

Another memory I have is that they used to do a character breakfast on the river boat . I remember seeing Chip N Dale there.

Of course, back then Disney used to generate all it's own electricity!

which is about 95% projections :lmao:

:rotfl:

And it's like the Nemo ride in EPCOT.

I've watched Food Rocks on Youtube and it seems interesting. However,I like Kitchen Kabaret better.

It used lake water, which is unsafe, and was very difficult to get to.

Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon were larger and had more attractions, anyway.

plus the water was like 6 feet deep everywhere, so if you didn't know how to swim, you essentially couldn't go there

Pleasure Island should be in this category as well because of Hyperion Wharf. ~
