Hi Everyone,
My DH and I worked at DL in the late 80's early 90's. We used to get tickets every season and we have kept them. Some are good at Epcot. Does anyone know how to use them? Can I just walk up to the gate or do I go to Guest Relations and spend most of my morning trying to figure it out?
Would love some info.
Thanks.

My DH is a CM at DL. All the hard tickets he's ever gotten have had expiration dates on them, usually expiring within a couple of years of receipt. The Blue Pass, which allows the CM to sign in 4 guests at a time, 16 times a year, is only good for that calendar year. I'm guessing they're not going to let you use tickets that old, but, hey, someone might disagree with me. Good luck.

If they don't have an expiration date on them, certainly you should go to guest relations and try. I still have four to use that expire this dec 2006 and june 2007. I wish mine didn't expire because we have APs, so will be giving ours to our grandson in Oct to use.

Goofylover:

In short, yes...you'll be able to use them (I was a CM around the same time....'89-'97). However, you WILL have to exchange them at GR for current tix. I've just about used all mine up--I think I have 2 left. We've used them @ both DL and WDW, with varying amounts of hassle. Never been much of a problem, however. Just give yourself a few extra min. in the morning if you're trying to be there at rope drop.

I had purchased some typhoon lagoon tickets when i was a cast member 13 years ago. This past May we finally went to Typhoon Lagoon again and we just traded them in for the updated tickets. We didn't have any problems at all. I thought that if they didn't give us new tickts that we would at least be able to trade them in towards the purcahse of a new one, but they honored them. They are good about that.

Thank you! Thank you! You have made our day. We have about 24 saved up!! Yeah!!!! Now I wonder if we should upgrade them to Park Hoppers!

I am not sure that you can upgrade comp tixs. When TDS was owned by Disney, we would get two (2) one day hopper passes every 6 months and we had to turns ours in at the ticket windows before we went in each day. They would not let us combine the tickets and if you exchanged a ticket, it was only good for that day you exchagned it.

1) Comp tickets have no value.
2) Therefore, they cannot be upgraded.

Just got back from WDW and we used our tickets just fine and they were turned into park hoppers!! Yeah! Thanks for all the info.
