Old 7 Day Hopper Ticket

Hi all,

I need a bit of help jogging my memory.

I bought some 7 day park hopper tickets in Jan 2001 and from memory I used 3 days worth in the main Disney parks (not the Water parks).

We did not use any of the water parks on that trip.

I know you cannot check how many days are left before you get to the park.

As I remember it, the unused days never expired, but if you used one of the water parks, that part of it expired after 7 days.

So was it a case of unlimited entrance to the water parks for 7 days.

Also does anyone recall if it included downtown disney or Pleasure Island, Disney Quest etc.

My other problem is that I have 2 adult tickets left with unused days (mentioned above) - however I am going back in October and need a ticket for a child and possibly my partner (unless we can use the old ones).

I know the new ones all allow fast pass, but does my old 7 day park hopper also allow fast pass ?

My main concern is that

A)The water park bit has expired as I used the ticket for Epcot, Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom
B)My old ticket won't allow me entrance to Downtown Disney, Disney Quest etc which I think I get with the new ticket.

I don't think there is any way I can redeem my old tickets towards new ones ?

If anyone can remember the rules for these old tickets + knows about the new ones - Great

Well any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Rich

Trying to remember about these tickets too!

Firstly ANY ticket that provides valid entry for the Disney parks qualifies for fastpass.

The old Park Hoppers you have, I would expect the water park days to still be valid too. We have an old park hopper child ticket for the water parks which is from the year 2000 - this is still valid as we had this checked out last month.

Pretty sure these tickets don't include Disney Quest etc - again like you though I am struggling to remember

it should say on back of ticket ie 7 day hopper with plus and disney quest.
If this is what it says and you havent used those days they will be still valid. We still have hopper tickets from 2000 and still use them.
Just be aware that it is hard to upgrade new uk tickets to non expiry option. We had lots of trouble even trying to upgrade an old childs ticket to an addults

We have got old hopper passes that we plan to use up next time, they had 7 days and we used 4 so got 3 left, on ours the days we didn't use at the water park are still valid aswell but don't think they include disney quest, but you should be fine for Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island. So you should be fine to use both of your old tickets and just buy a child ticket, hope this helps. :thumbsup2

The park hoppers never expire- this includes the +++ i used a plus from 2001 this year with no problems
