Having never been able to get OLCI to work properly (always an issue with at least one of our passports :confused3), I thought I'd give it another go this time.

Am I right in thinking that I can do OLCI and get printed boarding cards at bag drop (Manchester) or do I HAVE TO print them out at home?

Also we are staying at AoA and the only internet enabled device I will have with me is my Kindle Fire HD :surfweb: (not being interested in techie phones I still have one with a hamster running around a wheel to power it :rotfl:). I've seen that you do OLCI on your phone and save something to your mobile to produce at bag drop - could I do this on my Kindle (as I won't be able to print anything out).

Yes I know I'm a dinosaur when it comes to all things techie, but I do want to at least have a chance of getting the seats I have pre-requested!

:thanks:

I have done online check in without printing boarding passes, but only from the USA back home. I guess it should work both ways :)

No need to print anything or show anything to the bag drop desk.

I did OLCI this afternoon and then dropped our bags tonight a twilight check in. I didn't even tell them I had completed online check in - just handed over our passports and told her our flight.

She could see I had completed OLCI and asked if we had printed boarding passes. I told her no and she printed them for us.
