Olaf's Snow Fest

Where does the rope drop line up at? I'm afraid of going to the Olaf M&G during EMH and then not being able to get over to TSMM because now I'm blocked by the forming rope drop. :confused3

There is a path on the far right of the rope (at the circle) for early entry guests to get back into the rest of the park.

This could be the attraction that keeps RSR from being an hour wait by 20 minutes after rope drop.

As for Fantasy Theater going all Frozen, this makes sense. If they split it up, there would be lines forever to see the Frozen show and a few people left for the others. I love Tangled as much as any father does, but I've seen it and I would push and shove to get my girls a seat at the Frozen theater. With shows all day long, there won't be much need for that.

Do the fastpasses to meet Anna and Elsa prevent you from getting another fastpass?

Anna and Elsa fastpasses are not connected so, no, they don't prevent you from getting another fastpass.

OLAF:
When you get the pager you are inside where they have food (Meatballs, Corndog bites, Peperment Coco, and sweets. Olaf Merchandise. About every 45-60 minutes the have the "TUBA-a-dours" play frozen songs. Once you have the pager it seemed to be about a 15-20 minute wait to get into the inside line. (60 minutes = 20 outside, 20 with pager, and 20 inside line)

SNOW Play:
Yesterday I was suprised at the line to get into the Snow Play. I expected the crowds to be much less than during the Holiday weeks, but they were huge. The Snow area is in the center. About every 15 minutes they let a new group into the area, that includes sleding. (No Charge, like any other attraction.)

Sing-A-Long:
Easy to get Fastpass, If you get in Standby line 35-45 minutes before show you should get in.

Anna & Elsa Meet & Greet:
Easy to get Fastpasses until late afternoon. Than a short wait.

Draw a Snowman:
Draw Olaf on the hour, Marshmallow on the half.

Royal Theatre in Disneyland Fantasyland:
Closed for remodel. Starting tomorrow, Wed 1/7, it will be Frozen all the time.

How long is the Royal Theatre in Disneyland--closed for remodel for???

He's available right at open including early morning. This morning we went straight there at early entry and were first there. They had some vague delay and we foolishly took their advice and went on a ride and came back since they told us he wasn't busy all early morning. When we got back the wait was 35 minutes. I took my son potty during that time and came back around 9:05 and the line was full up outside - probably an hour wait - in the rain. He does sign by drawing a picture of himself. He loves warm hugs.

Love the warm hugs! Will definitely bring something for signatures. That will be our first stop : )

Do we need to bring a change of clothes for the kiddos if they do the snow play? Are they gonna be soaking wet?

They won't get soaking wet but it is a little chilly in there and you'll want a reasonable shoe. I had on Toms and it wasn't such a good idea but it wasn't a disaster. You wouldn't want girls in princess shoes or anything. If you think the kids are going to make things in the snow some mittens would be good. But I didn't see a lot of that going on. It's a very hard mix between slush and ice.

Maybe an itsy bitsy one. Like baseball size balls. They have wooden Olaf parts - buttons, noses, eyes that can be laid in the snow to "build a snowman".

Bwahaha. Really?! Well, I guess its a nice try. I wondered how they were gonna do that. But I suppose it is snow in SoCal, so waddyagonnado?

Has anyone been recently to see Olaf? Do you still wait in a line to get a pager? Do they ever cut the line off? I'm going next Friday, Feb. 13th and won't be getting to the parks until 11ish with my son. It's his bday and he really wants to see Olaf. Any info would be great! TIA

There is sledding for ages 3+. Pretty fun. No charge. We had about enough time to do one run then they clear out the area and let more people in.

I answered on your other thread. When we went in Jan, you wait in line outside to get a pager (can be quite a while). After you get the pager you can play in the snow or I have heard that others have left the building. When the pager goes off, you get in another shorter line for the meet. So, go get your fantasmic passes first. The line for Olaf will probably be long any time after rope drop.
