I have not seen an Olaf plush at the parks (or at Target or
Walmart for that matter) since before the movie came out back in November. The parks have restocked some Frozen items (dresses, crowns, dolls, etc) a few times, and the items almost instantly sell out. But I haven't seen the Olafs be restocked, and if they have, they have sold out *really* fast. The shop that will take precedence in getting the Frozen merchandise first now (in the parks) is Sir Mickey's in MK. This is the shop that you exit into after seeing A & E.
I would highly suggest your friend trying to get a FP+ for Anna and Elsa meet and greet. They are very hard to get, but you can keep trying. You can search for one person, and then attempt to 'copy' the FP+ info to the rest of your party. Try getting on numerous times a day and checking for FP+ to attempt to secure one.
If you don't get a FP+, you can do rope drop (getting to MK before the park opens) and pretty much run straight back to Fairytale Hall. If you are not there first thing, you will easily have a 2-4 hour long wait.
A lot of reports have said the wait times are less in the afternoon (as short as an hour) but that would be taking a risk since A & E only meet until 5pm each day.
