Olaf at CA

Anyone know how long the Olaf M&G will be at CA? I had heard it was just a summer thing, but it seems real popular and I was hoping it would still be there in early November when my friend comes to visit. He's a BIG Olaf fan.

Olaf has been meeting guests in DCA since late last year. I haven't heard that they've announced any end date for his meet and greet. The guessing is that the Snow Fest will return later this year (they were auditioning performers for something that sounded an awful lot like the Snow Fest earlier), so Olaf may move to wherever the Snow Fest is held, but it seems likely that he'll be around for a while.

I don't think you'll have any problem finding Olaf. They're going to keep Frozen going on high gear until well after the second movie is released.

As figment_jii mentioned, based on the timing of the auditions taking place for the musicians who perform at Olaf's Snow Fest, it looks as though Disney is trying to get Snow Fest up and running again sometime during the holiday season. Last year they were auditioning the musicians in October, for a January start date. Auditioning them in August seems to imply that Snow Fest will reopen in November or December. But, even if for some crazy reason it doesn't open then (in which case I don't know why they would be auditioning musicians this early), I'm sure Olaf will still be greeting guests -- just without the accompanying lute players and the snow!

I stalked you already over this. But an additionAl question.
Olaf stands outside if I'm correct So working on the Inside building won't affect him to be out meeting guests? Or do you think this is possible? I hope not probable.

I think that wherever Olaf ends up -- whether he stays where he is now or whether the Snow Fest opens up during the holiday season and he moves, whether he is indoors or outdoors -- he will be greeting guests. Wherever Olaf goes, the meet & greet will follow. That's my guess.

I have to keep faith in seeing Olaf

The only thing I'm "afraid" of is that he leaves for a couple of days because they have to work on his Area and that it Will be in the week I'm there. But that's me being negative

Oh, I see what you mean. No... I don't think you'll miss Olaf. He's so popular. I mean, of course, never say never -- just when we think Disney will or won't do something, they go and switch things up on us! But I don't think Olaf would need to disappear while the Snow Fest is being set up (if it is, indeed, being set up for a return). I think he will stay where he is, and then when Snow Fest is all ready to go, he'll move. Or, who knows, maybe he won't even move to Snow Fest? Maybe he will stay where he is and they will just open Snow Fest with the snow, food, music, etc., and leave Olaf at his current photo spot.
