Has anyone stayed near the Turtle Pond at OKW and how was it?

I love the Turtle Pond area with a water view. I've stayed in 31, 43, 40 & 37. I wasn't as crazy about 40 (close to the road & no partial golf view), but the rest were great!

We always had a rental car, so distance to the main building wasn't an issue.

We've stayed at least three times on Old Turtle Pond. The leisure pool there is really nice.

Anywhere at OKW is great. Turtle Pond has a quiet pool which is slightly larger than the other quiet pools, plus a small arcade and snack bar area.

Has anyone stayed near the Turtle Pond at OKW and how was it?

Yes, I stay there all the time now. I found with the addition of the slide at the main pool the pool at Turtle Pond is great for adults with most of the kids now at the main pool area. It has its own snack bar also. It is the only street where the turn around for the buses that was built properly so the buses do not have to travel through a parking lot making it more quiet at night for those of you that use bedrooms near the front of the buildings.

In Nov.,we stayed in a GV in Bldg 49 which is very close to the SouthPoint bus stop so is technically, I think, considered to be located in the South POint area...but it was also just a very short walk behind our villa to Turtle Pond pool area. Great location! Have also stayed in Bldg 33. in Turtle Pond area which was ok, too. Just back from Bldg. 56 which i LOVED! I will always request the South Point area because it is so quiet and is most convenient to the walking path to SSR and Downtown Disney. But the most important requests for me are NON-SMOKING and TOP FLOOR (for best chance of nice view and less noise)
