Im going next month and wondered if all the powders etc are included in the room? Going with two babies i think ill be washing everyday!

Alos for those that have used it how long are the cycles for washing and drying?

Are you staying in a 1 or 2 bedroom, as opposed to a studio? If so, there will be a couple of small boxes of washing powder provided when you arrive. Housekeeping (assuming you aren't a DVC member and aren't staying on points) will provide more when needed.

Yes we have a 1 bed and not on dvc

Oh thats good, i do loads of washing here so its nice to be able to come home with clean clothes! And if girls have any accidents i can wash it all, plus we dont have to take as much! More room for shopping

We were in 1 bedroom as package not dvc, i noticed that the mousekeepers had small boxes of refills on their trolleys and also in their cupboards,I took my own however as I find theirs to have too much bleach, I also took some tumble dryer sheets too.

You will get small boxes of Tide. I only use this for the towels as it doesn't leave things very soft.

I bought the Purex 3in1 sheets from Publix and use those as they are detergent, softener and dryer sheet in one :thumbsup2 I also picked up a stain stick in publix for DDs stuff to get any stains out - its great you can put it on when the stain occurs and leave it up to a week before washing. Its brilliant!

I love the in-room washers with DD - I throw some washing in as we leave in the morning then we when we get back at lunchtime it goes in the dryer while we are at the pool. :thumbsup2

sorry to thread-but .......are they easy to use? Notice that they are top loading and never used one like this before? Can you use our type of softener and if I wanted to bring my own 'washing powder' would gel/liquid work too or am I best sticking to the 'big box style powders'?? Any ideas on time of cycle length too??

Sorry for all the questions and butting in

I can also recommend Purex 3 in 1 and I used a stain stick made by tide,I use persil at home and had no allergic reactions from the Purex, infact I bought a stash home with me,tropical scent:)

The one bedroom is really spacious, pop your laundry on ready when you get back from the park, perfect:banana:

I am a Mum of 4 young children and I absolutely love the Washer/Dryer Machines in the OKW/SSR accomodation, to the point were DH tried to import me one over but something to do with the electric current etc it just wouldnt work in the UK.

The cycles are super fast, I used to pop the wash in when I got up in the morning, get breakfast and all of us ready for the park by that time the load was washed. Pop it in the dryer and its ready for you for when you get home. Our children wear a lot of those UV suits which are perfect to wash and dry ready for the next day. Due to the ease of these machines I'm taking next to nothing in clothes this year for the children.

Housekeeping will happily provide extra boxes of Tide if needed :thumbsup2
