OKW wash/dry machines?

Usually we stay in studios at DVC and from experience have used the washer and dryers at other DVCs free, but I was checking an FYI at OKW and it states laundry is $2 a load, so it's not free for members? Anyone know?

It is my understanding that the washers/dryers are free for members. That said I haven't stayed at okw for more than one night in years and always in a two bedroom. So this is just my understanding as an owner and not based on personal experience. hopefully you will get someone to comment who has a bit more knowledge then I do!

We only had to use these on one trip, years ago. We went to the HH front desk and they gave us tokens to insert into the machines instead of paying $$ into them.

I was there the week of Thanksgiving and it was free. There are slots to put in coins but leave it empty and push it in. Starts right up!

Just did my laundry today at OKW. As PP said,the washers and driers have the coin slot but just slide it empty and they start.
The door was open and I didn't even have to unlock it with the MB (unlike Jumbo House at AKV).

Washers and dryers are free to use at all DVC resorts.
