Requesting a specific building rarely works. It's usually better to request an area (Turtle Pond, South Point, etc.) or a range of buildings. If you want to be near the pool in the Turtle Pond section I'd request buildings 41-44...but remember, it's just a request and you could end up in any section of the resort.

You could request Turtle Pond Road area, and then narrow your request to either close to the quiet pool or the bus stop. I personally would prefer to be closer to the bus stop than to the pool. You may be using the bus to get to the main area and pool so it may be more of a benefit. If you ask to be closer to the quiet pool, then you will most likely be walking further to the bus stop. We would use the bus far more frequently than the quiet pool. We've stayed in building 33 before and it was ideal, right next to the bus stop.

You can choose which building you want when you check in - they always just assign you a room, but we always ask what else is available and then pick one. Be careful though - we went in June and got Turtle Pond Rd., which we love, but when we checked in we were on an end of the building and I could see the parking lot and buses from our patio, so we went back to the front and got another room. It's safe if you get an inner room, close to the center of the building - had a great water and golf view in the middle of building 35, and last year we had a gorgeous view in the middle of building 33. Both of those are right beside a bus stop, and just a minute or two walk to the quiet pool. So don't be afraid to ask what's available and where your room is located within the building before you get to it and don't like it. Also, don't be afraid to call the front desk if you check in and don't like your room, because they will gladly see what else you could move to so you're satisfied.

I loved building 43, it's close to the pool. I also liked building 37. Neither of these buildings have busses running outside so they are more quiet. One building I didn't like so much was 40. It was close to the Bonnet Creek Parkway.

i have another question building 33 how far of a walk to the quiet pool ??? also, is there picnic tables here as well??
