OKW to Poly one night, OKW to WL next night

Disney Dining told me to allow an hour each way for trips from OKW to the Poly for 'OHana and from OKW to WL for Whispering Canyon. Is this accurate? It seems like such a waste of precious time! Do we take MK busses or is there a TTC bus from OKW?

Also, we've got an 8:15 PS at CRT on a non-EMH day. Can we count on a bus in time or should we get a taxi? Is the 1st bus departure usually on time from OKW?

All that being said, would it be better/easier/faster/less hassle to drive our own car to the other resorts? I really don't want to drive, but jeez--an hour one way??

How much would taxis cost? I'm so cheap, I don't see me springing for a taxi ride, but ya never know.

We are DVC members and use the busses for the parks when we are there. When we resort hop,or go to dinner, we always use are car. It is faster,easier, and more convenient.

It would take you 5 minutes to get to the Poly and 5 minutes to get to the VWL(Whispering Canyon) by car. If your car is there, I would very stongly reccomend to use it for what you have planned.

I am also a big "basketball fan".Was at the 87 Final Four(New Orleans) when IU won on Keith Smart's shot. My son played at WVU(93-97).
