OKW to DD, options?

I know that there is a boat that goes from Old Key West to Downtown Disney, so while that boat is in operation, is there also a bus that runs?

I thought I remember hearing that the boat ends it's operations fairly early, would the bus service then kick in?

What about early morning transportation. like 9:00 a.m., what would my options be for this same route?

Basically, does anyone know the hours of operation for transportation of OKW to DD?

The bus service runs all the time - even when the boat is also running.

you might consider walking....there's a direct trail...takes maybe 20 minutes..

wow, really? where in DD does the trail take you? That sounds like a much easier option than trying to park down there right now!

The walking trail ends on the side of Downtown Disney near Cirque du Soliel.

Ah, that makes sense but not as convenient as I thought. That means to get over to the World of Disney it's more like a 40 minute walk, that's quite a hike with lots of packages in hand

so, does the bus have stops in the marketplace area?

Still looking for the approximate hours of operation of the boat. Also, what order does the boat pick up/return to resorts? (It shares with Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter, right?)

The bus does have pickups in the Marketplace area. The boat to POFQ and POR is a different one than the boat to OKW.

Just got back from OKW - boat runs till 11:30 - last one out from Marketplace stop.

The Boat stops at SS both in bound and utbound - it will also stop at Cirque du Solei on way in, but only by request.

From our experiences, the boat does not begin its morning route until 11:00 am or so. This may change during the holiday season. The DTD buses make the rounds of all the "streets" in OKW. The first stop is at the Marketplace; the closest store is the Christmas shop.
