What are the views like here? I'm staying there soon and was thinking about making a request for water view, but on the resort map it seems that there aren't many buildings facing water. Are there any other requests I should put in for these buildings? Thanks in advance :)

The only HH area building with any decent kind of water view IMHO would be bldg 23 preferably a second or third floor from the center to the left side of the bldg.

If you get a studio on the right of building 23, next to the bridge, be prepared for traffic noise. We were in a 1 bedroom next to the end studio and I didn't really enjoy the balcony because of the noise from vehicles and pool music. It is, however, very convenient.

Sounds like it would be tough to get a water view studio. Maybe I'll just request a non-obstructed view so I don't have to stare at woods. Thanks to you both :)

"Near Hospitality House" booking category includes Buildings 11-14 and 23-26. There are water views available from Buildings 13, 14, 23, 25 and 26.

Here is a map of OKW:

Enjoy! :)

If you're just concerned about non obstructed stay away from any first floor rooms, the foliage is very dense around most of the buildings. Building 23 is still a good choice, just try to get the left end of the building, and it's a short walk to the HH and the Peninsular Rd bus stop.
I just stayed in building 23 in May on the 2nd floor, (perhaps 2320)which was on the right side of the building adjacent to the road, the road noise was not a problem but the view was of the canal and marina and the backside of the HH.

I had a room in 26 on the end closest to 25 and it had a nice view of both the green and the pond, it was on the second floor.

Thanks for all the tips! How do you request certain locations though? I just tried online check-in and it doesn't have anywhere to write-in requests, just a list of areas to choose from.

you call member service - just ask for a water view.

We were third floor in 13. ( not a studio though)' water fairway view, with the woods across...beautiful, private and could sit on my balcony and not see another balcony in site!!!!

In general, for a better view in a studio, I would request a higher floor, unless that doesn't work for your family. That doesn't guarantee anything, but a lot of rooms on the ground floor are really covered with foliage. Higher floors can be as well, but you have a better chance of avoiding a blocked view the higher you go up. Good luck and enjoy!

We had a 3rd floor studio in April, room 3535, and the palm trees were so tall you could not see the water through them

I will also request a third floor :) if i have views of nothing but palm trees it won't be the end of the world. I looooove palm trees and we have quite the shortage of them here in ohio!
