OKW - studios at 11 months?

Hello-
Considering a 50 point contract at OKW to get my DVC feet wet. How hard or easy is it to get standard studios at 11 months on a busy week (specifically Presidents Day week in Feb)? Thanks!

Not at all hard.

50 points will get you 4 nights Feb 1-15, but only 3 nts for Presidents day.

Not hard for your 11 month window. No standard/preferred, view, etc. Only HH - no extra points.

Yes I was thinking every other year - so I’d have 100 points to use and could probably get 6 nights according to the 2022 chart. (Although I wouldn’t actually be using it in 2022- more for reference). We usually only do a full WDW week every couple years - the off years we do a beach trip or DL. I’m ok staying off site at DL bc there are so many hotels within walking distance.

We have had a 50 point contract at OKW since 2012. Works great for us! We can go for a week every 3 years or so. We've done Grand Californian, Aulani twice, Hilton Head, and will stay at OKW for 8 nights this August. For us it was perfect and we have no use for more points since we like to mix our travels up a bit and go to Hawaii, or Myrtle Beach, Vegas, etc.
