OKW--South Pointe with a view??

Hi all!

In a couple of weeks I will be making the phone call to MS to place a reservation for a trip to OKW. We stayed there last year in a studio(Building 53) and really loved the South Point location, but hated the view... or should I say, lack of view. This time we will be in a one bedroom, and I'm hoping for a golf course, lake, or both view. Any suggestions or pictures??? TIA!!

Not sure about 1 BR locations but bldg 55 has great views looking up the canal towards HH area, 2nd floor has better views.

Our South Point stay was in building 45. We were on the 2nd floor and had a view of the river. It was absolutely gorgeous. Our DGS loved waving at the boats as they would pass by.

After 16 years, we have learned the higher up you go, the more likely you are to have a better view. Can't say we've had too many studios with good views either. There is usually a palm tree right in front of the balcony.

We have only stayed in 45 in the area that I remember. Studio, 2nd floor end unit. No view other than a palm. We thought it would be great to be on the river but couldn't see it.

So my advise is to ask for 3rd floor if you can do the stairs since there is no elevator in the South Pointe area. I think most of the views are water or golf course but I'm not at home with my map.

Our favorite South Point locations for view are 55, 45, and 46. They are canal views and very nice. I'd include 56 in there, but that one can have some bus noise with it. For golf course view, you would like 48 also, but since there are GVs in the building, you would run the risk of being under the non-HA GV, and that means extra noise also.

Actually, my preference is the other end of that view! I like being in the building pictured viewing back toward the camera!
