Yes, OKW rooms are MUCH larger. The studio is bigger, but with the sleeper sofa at BWV folded, it kind of seems larger.
Where it becomes most apparent is the kitchen and dining area. In a BWV unit there is a table with two chairs in a two bedroom that sleeps eight, to dine on. The kitchen is unacceptable completely for our vacations.
We go for 10-12 nights. Even a two bedroom at OKW has a large kitchen and a decent dining table. If you do have the unit filled with eight or the Grand Villa with twelve, the patio has a table with four chairs besides the extra table and chairs in the living room.
It really comes down to personal preference. If you eat every meal out and spend very little time in your room, the kitchen and dining areas don't matter.
If you do expect to eat a few large meals in your room and spend some family time with people you haven't seen in a year or three, the large, comfortable units at OKW lend themselves quite well to this kind of visit. The women can be in one area and the men in another and have the kids stuck in a room.
Oh well, you hit one of the reasons I love OKW so much.
