OKW Room Request

I have three 2BR's booked at OKW and would like to be close to HH & the sandcastle pool to minimize walking. It's a cash reservation (not DVC) so is there any chance of me getting buildings 11-13? If not, what would be my best bet for a request to get close to these areas?

Follow-up question- do you find it more convenient to get the bus at HH or to be close to Peninsular Rd and be the first bust stop? Are buses often full by the time they reach HH? We have a large group so I'm a little worried it could be an issue.

As an individual paying cash for your reservation you will not have access to buildings 11 through 13. The buildings in the sixties near the hospitality house are available to you so those would be a good option. We stayed in Hospitality House area Villa three years ago in June, and will do so again in the next few weeks. If you can swing it I highly recommend getting on the bus at the hospitality house. We very rarely found that the buses were too full for us and we were a group of 10. It is nice to not have to ride the bus through the entire resort. I would also recommend exiting the bus at the Peninsular Road bus stop. It is very convenient to not ride the bus throughout the resort.

Thank you @Duffy Lover! I was looking at Building 62 as an option, which I think is the area you're referring to (first stay at OKW so not super familiar with everything). Do you happen to know if that is one of the buildings that has elevators as well?

I stayed in 62. Its close to the HH and has elevators

Buildings 62, 63, and 64 are the only 3 buildings with elevators and they are generally held back for those who need them for medical/disability reasons. They are requested a lot as you can imagine. You can request one of them, but don't be disappointed if you don't get it. A lot of us (me included) like Old Turtle Pond. It has a great pool and a snack bar that is open seasonally. All the buses stop at HH on the way out of the resort so it is easy to get to the main pool from anywhere in the resort.
