OKW Room Request Help

We are using DVC for a 2 bedroom dedicated at OKW
What area should we request- we like to be near bus stop and pool (who doesn't) but the quieter the better.
Also the best way to put the request in ?

The only way to put in the request is to call member services. I like being in South Point which is fairly quiet and has it's own pool as well as a bus stop. honestly if you want to be near a pool and a bus stop then you don't really need to make a request- every area of the resort has a pool and a bus stop so no building is far from any of them.

We were in a 2br at OKW this past May 2010. We stayed in building 62, room 6212 on the ground floor. As you can see from the map below, it is right across the street from the Hospitality House so a short walk to the bust stop, Olivia's, pool, boat launch, etc. It was very quiet. We like Turtle Pond. It is quiet, has a lovely pool with a sncak bar during busier times, nice bus stop and is a lovely walk to HH. Also the one and two bedroom units at Turtle Pond have the extra entrance to the bathroom through tlaundry by the master bedroom so you don't disturb anyone who is sleeping in the maser bedroom.
I have stayed in 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, & 44 and had great stays and quiet ones in all of them.
Put the request in as soon as you make your reservation.

We stayed in building 25 it was a few mins to HH and right by a bus stop. I wrote to them about 2 weeks before( from uk) and requested near hosp house first floor and we got it. Did the same for aklv and got tht so been lucky. Never ask for specific room numbers. Was advised the less u ask for the more chance of the request being granted although we all know they are only requests and not guarenteed.

You aren't really far from any bus stop or any pool (there are four of them at OKW).

Thanks so much where exactly is the boat launch? We like to go to DD pretty often so within walking distance would be great. Can't figure out where it is on the map

On map where Hospitality House Area is located there's letter H, the boat launch is located nearly directly below that & slightly left of H (beneath --- broken line)

The boat launch is right by the main pool. It isn't a bad walk from Turtle Pond area. We stayed in building 30 a few years ago and it was a nice walk.

I agree, we love the Turtle Pond area

Hospitality House is a booking category, not a request. So you will need to book that when you make your reservation if you want to be near it.

Otherwise, as stated, most areas of OKW contain a pool and bus stop somewhere within its cluster. I find it fun to sometimes just see where I end up there, lol.
