I am making a reservation for a friend who knows nothing about WDW. He wants a 2 BR at OKW, my home resort. Is there a website that has the actual room locations, e.g., where the 2 BR units are in building 24?
By the way, I recommended to him reserving near HH, and then asking for Peninsular Road, so as to get buildings 23, 24, 25, or 26. That is my favorite location; near the first bus stop, and near HH and the last bus stop located there.
Thanks.

You can also check out the Touring Plans site - search for 'Old Key West Room Map' and you can find their site - just choose 2-bedroom from the search, and it will show all matching rooms and building locations - with room numbers on the map and in many cases, views from the room itself.

I'm glad to hear that you prefer 23-26. I have my first "near HH" stay at OKW coming up, and I was hoping for that area also. But DH put in a request for a golf course view. If we end up in Building 13, we'll still go over to the Peninsular Road bus stop. Since I have an ECV, we don't want to get on at the last bus stop. I agree with looking at view pictures on Touring Plans to get some ideas.

If using an ECV, make sure you indicate that and request a ground floor entry. You can also request a handicapped accessible room.

Every time I've stayed in that cul de sac (all but my first time at OKW) I've had a Deluxe Studio with a golf course view. That's from the balcony; the front window has a porch/parking lot view. The bus stop is right by building 26.

This was the first time I reserved a Handicapped Accessible room. I've heard a couple reports lately from people with ECVs, who had requested, but not gotten first floor. I'd never reserved the HH category and requested first floor, because there are so few buildings in that category. carlbarry, thanks! We're in a one bedroom, but that cut-de-sac sounds perfect.

Remember that all the Near HH rooms do not have the second entrance to the main bathroom , if anyone will be sleeping in the living room area. Buildings 30 and above can enter the main restroom through both the bedroom and laundry room. Buildings 30 and below can only enter the main bathroom through the master bedroom.
