OK, we are in the final stages of planning for our first stay at OKW so here are hopefully our final questions for you experts.
1) Can anyone tell me how many washers/dryers there are in the laundry rooms?

2) I see from looking at a map of OKW, there is a jogging/walking trail throughout the complex. Does anyone know how long it is or is there a better place to walk in the mornings?

Thanks.

I was just at OKW from 5/30 - 6/7. We stayed in a studio so we had to utilize the washers/dryers. There were 2 washers & 4 dryers in the laundry facility that I used. In case you weren't aware - they are free of charge. There is a soda machine & clothes washing product vending machine in the laundry facility. They are located at the pool area. Very convenient - took my clothes & sat out by the pool while I waited :) As an FYI, I never had a wait to use the machines. Maybe I just had good luck/timing, or maybe there really weren't that many guests that needed them. I used them 3 times on my 9N trip.

As far as the jogging trail. I don't think it is an actual trail . I never saw one. I saw lots of people jogging every morning along the sidewalks which I noticed were part of the jogging trail.

We walked everyday on the sidewalks up to the Hospitality House, so I doubt you would have any trouble walking or jogging.

Hope the above was helpful.

There is a great paved walkway that starts behind Building 55 and follows the Trumbo Canal from OKW to SSR and/or DD. It is 0.93 miles from Building 55 to Cirque at DD. It passes the THVs at SSR. Once you get to the golf bridge across the canal you can go to the right towards Cirque or cross the bridge and walk to the right into the SSR complex. This walkway is closed from dusk to dawn. It is not lighted and even though paved, there are some uneven areas.

There are sidewalks throughout the OKW resort that can also be used for walking/jogging. These just follow the roadways although there is a pathway behind the Turtle Shack that leads to the far end of the South Point area. The golf course cart paths are not available for walking/jogging/biking though.
